Our School Day

School Start

Our school day starts at 8:35 a.m. and finishes at 3:15 p.m. Registration is open from 8:35 a.m.

Morning Playtime

At 10:45am our children have a break until 11:00 a.m. to burn off some of that excess energy ready for more learning! Reception have break times which are quite flexible. Towards the end of the school year, they will join children in Key Stage 1 to have breaks at set times.

Lunch

Due to the size of the school we stagger our lunch breaks between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have their lunch at 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. Children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 have their lunch from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Assemblies

Pupils have a daily assembly from 2:45 p.m. to 3:05 p.m.

Drop off and collection

At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are encouraged into the playground. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset.
