Important Update

NO wider reopening date agreed yet

Following the Government’s announcement, I am writing to share with you the proposals for the wider reopening of Green Lane.  Our priority is the safety of all staff, pupils and the families.  These arrangements have been put into place in all the PAT schools acting on all the guidance available.

We are looking forward to seeing all our pupils once again, but I would like to reassure you that the safety of our school community is our priority.  We will continue to review the arrangements and safety plans we have made and update you with any changes as soon as possible.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, government advice is that school will close, except for the children of ‘Key Workers’, as of Monday the 23 March 2020.

We have put work and activities on the website to help the children while they are not at school.  You can find them by clicking here. We will be trying to update these regularly.  Please encourage children to use it as much as you can.

Take care, stay safe, and lets all look after each other.

‘Green Lane is not just a school, it is a family; we are a community. Our teachers, parents and everyone work together to make the purposeful, safe place we all want to come to every day. We are provided with the best possible care and learning experiences. Everyone can find something to to be good at to help them achieve their full potential. As a Talking School, it’s important that everyone’s voice is heard.’
