Green Lane Primary School

Green Lane Primary School is a large three-form entry school located in the heart of Manningham in Bradford.  We are a proud member of the Priestley Academy Trust and work alongside our trust colleagues and five other schools to ensure our pupils get the best and achieve the highest outcomes.  Our motto in PAT is ‘Be The Change’ and we use these words to guide our practice and collective decision making.

Whilst we are also proud of our school and our achievements, we recognise that our journey is never at end and we continue to work hard every day to make the improvements needed to be the best that we can be.  At Green Lane we have a dedicated team of staff and governors who show commitment and desire in ensuring that the pupils at the school achieve the highest outcomes.

Our are supported by a rich curriculum that promotes the development of core skills and provides enrichment, breadth and balance.  We provide our pupils with a strong foundation, so that they are able to tackle the next stage in their education or employment with confidence.

We recognise that to succeed in providing the highest standard of education, we must work in close partnership with our parents and carers.  The relationship between home and school is important to us and we value highly the feedback we get from our families, as well a the contributions that parents and carers make to school life.  Without these contributions, Green Lane could not be the success it is.

At Green Lane Primary School we are committed to safeguarding all members of our community and this work is of the highest priority in school to ensure that we provide a safe environment in which children can learn. Furthermore, provision for children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is at the centre of all we do as is promoting British Values.

We are very proud of what we do at Green Lane Primary School and welcome visits from our existing families, as well any potential new families who may wish to join us.
